EMRs typically contain general information such as treatment and medical history about a patient as it is collected by the individual medical practice. An electronic medical record includes information about a patient’s health history, such as diagnoses, medicines, tests, allergies, immunizations, and treatment plans. In the EMR module, the Admin has the ability to create users for the lab, doctors, nurses and even pharmaceutical representatives. The admin also creates patients in the system from who medical record entry is requested by the industry users. The patients can also make doctor appointments and lab test appointments in the EMR portal. All the data shared by the patient and all the data shared to the patient such as lab results etc resides in the blockchain component of the Health Node system. This private Blockchain will have the capabilities to keep the data secure and ledgers protected as well. Network is controlled using Hyperledger modeling and access control languages.
